Communication & Outreach Lead at Proximity Works. About Proximity Foundation. Proximity Foundation runs structured coding education programs for young people aged 14-18 at Community Care Institutions (CCIs). Using a computer-based LMS curriculum covering HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and SQL, we pair students with volunteer mentors in cohort-based sessions designed to build real technical skills and lasting confidence.. We are scaling from the first cohort to many cohorts within Mumbai and building the operational team that will carry this program forward. Every role in Proximity Foundation is a direct investment in the young people we serve.. Role Type : Volunteer. Time Commitment : 2-3 hrs. a week. Department : Outreach & Content. Reports to : Operations Manager. ROLE FOCUS. The content engine of Proximity Foundation. Owns all content creation and communication materials — including everything the Partnerships & Engagement Lead needs to do their outreach work. Produces partnership decks, one-pagers, social content, and outreach templates.. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES. Produce all partnership materials needed by the Partnerships Lead — pitch decks, one-pagers, brochures, and email templates. Manage social media presence across LinkedIn and Instagram. Oversee website content and all external communication updates. Manage and support the Content Creator and Volunteer Sourcing roles. Collaborate closely with the Partnerships Lead to brief, create, and refine materials for each donor or CSR target. Report content output and communication metrics to the Operations Manager. WHAT A TYPICAL WEEK LOOKS LIKE. You'll be creating and scheduling content, collaborating with the Partnerships Lead on what materials they need next, reviewing work from the Content Creator, and overseeing volunteer sourcing posts..
