The Staff Software Engineer, Test, will define and execute test strategies, develop automated test frameworks, and ensure high-quality delivery across web and mobile applications. You will collaborate closely with engineers, product managers, and designers to drive innovation, implement modern testing tools—including AI-driven approaches—and enhance overall product reliability. The ideal candidate is a hands-on technical leader, capable of balancing rapid development with high-quality standards while mentoring teams, shaping technical vision, and improving processes across multiple projects. Lead the design and implementation of automated test strategies for web and mobile applications.. . Guide developers in applying automation practices across unit, integration, and system testing levels.. . Develop and maintain automated test scripts for new functionality and regression coverage.. . Drive innovation of test frameworks and tools, integrating modern technologies and AI where applicable.. . Oversee execution of test cycles to ensure comprehensive, repeatable coverage.. . Manage defect reporting, tracking, resolution, and closure across multiple teams.. . Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to plan and execute testing for new features.. . Multitask between triaging issues, authoring test plans, reviewing coverage, and handling intake from feature pipelines.. . Mentor team members on best practices for testing and quality assurance.. . . 10+ years of hands-on software quality assurance and testing experience, preferably in web and mobile applications.. . 8+ years of experience in test automation development (UI and API).. . Deep knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming concepts, with proficiency in C# and JavaScript.. . Experience with HTML, CSS, XPath, and other web testing technologies.. . Familiarity with code deployments, version control systems (Git), and CI/CD tools (TeamCity, Jenkins, CircleCI, etc.).. . Strong understanding of the Test Pyramid and Agile Test Quadrants concepts.. . BS in Computer Science or related engineering field preferred.. . Ability to multitask, triage issues, and adapt to changing requirements in a fast-paced environment.. . Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to operate independently while knowing when to seek guidance.. . Excellent communication skills and experience mentoring team members..
