The Sales Development Representative (SDR) is responsible for building and managing the top of the sales funnel through outbound prospecting, lead generation, and qualification. This role plays a critical part in driving revenue growth by identifying high-quality leads and booking meetings for the sales team.. You will engage with decision-makers across various industries, craft personalized outreach strategies, and manage ongoing communication to convert prospects into qualified opportunities. Drive consistent pipeline generation that directly contributes to revenue growth . Increase conversion rates from outreach to qualified meetings through strategic engagement . Improve outreach effectiveness by refining messaging and targeting approaches . Support sales team efficiency by delivering high-quality, sales-ready leads . Maintain accurate CRM data to enhance pipeline visibility and forecasting. Core Responsibilities (with percentage allocations). C. Prospecting & Lead Generation – 40%. Identify and research potential clients across target industries and segments . Build targeted prospect lists using multiple sourcing channels . Execute high-volume outbound outreach via email, LinkedIn, and calls . Continuously refine targeting strategies to improve lead quality . Outreach & Engagement – 30%. Craft personalized messaging to engage decision-makers and stakeholders . Initiate conversations and qualify prospects based on defined criteria . Handle objections and communicate value propositions effectively . Maintain consistent follow-ups to nurture and convert leads . Appointment Setting & Pipeline Support – 20%. Schedule meetings and demos for Account Executives . Ensure smooth handoff of qualified leads to the sales team . Track engagement and conversion metrics across the pipeline . Maintain strong pipeline hygiene and organization . CRM & Reporting – 10%. Log all outreach activities and prospect data in CRM systems . Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of interactions . Generate reports on outreach performance and pipeline metrics . Provide insights to improve sales development strategies. Must-Haves (Required). 1–3+ years of experience in Sales Development, B2B sales, or outbound prospecting . Proven experience in lead generation and appointment setting . Strong written and verbal English communication skills . Experience working with CRM systems and sales tools . Ability to meet outreach and performance KPIs consistently . Highly organized with strong attention to detail . Comfortable working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment. Nice-to-Haves (Preferred). Experience in SaaS, AI, or healthcare industries . Familiarity with US-based clients or startup environments . Experience with multi-channel outreach strategies . Track record of exceeding sales or pipeline targets. Tools Proficiency.
