In this role, you will design and develop custom WordPress themes and plugins, translating design mockups into functional, secure, and SEO-friendly websites. You will work across multiple technologies including PHP, HTML5/CSS3, JavaScript, and MySQL, collaborating closely with designers and other developers to deliver scalable and maintainable solutions. Accountabilities:. ·         Develop custom WordPress themes and plugins from scratch to meet project requirements.. ·         Convert design mockups into responsive, cross-browser compatible websites.. ·         Optimize website performance, implement SEO best practices, and maintain security standards.. ·         Troubleshoot and debug issues with existing sites, ensuring high-quality user experiences.. ·         Maintain and update WordPress core, themes, and plugins to ensure scalability and security.. ·         Collaborate with design and development teams to implement innovative web solutions.. ·         Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in web development.. ·         3+ years of experience in WordPress development.. ·         Strong proficiency in PHP, HTML5/CSS3, JavaScript, and MySQL.. ·         Experience with WordPress theme and plugin development.. ·         Knowledge of custom post types, taxonomies, WordPress REST API, and Advanced Custom Fields (ACF).. ·         Familiarity with Git version control, responsive design principles, cross-browser compatibility, SEO, and web security.. ·         Excellent problem-solving skills, communication abilities, and attention to detail.. ·         Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.. ·         Preferred: experience with Sass/LESS, modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Vue.js), build tools (Gulp, Webpack), WordPress Multisite, open-source contributions, PERL/ModPERL experience, and a portfolio demonstrating custom WordPress projects..
