Accountabilities:. ·         Lead, mentor, and grow a team of senior and staff engineers, fostering professional and technical development.. ·         Establish team goals, set expectations, and create a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.. ·         Drive efficiency, product velocity, and quality across engineering initiatives.. ·         Collaborate with product, design, and other stakeholders to deliver new features rapidly and effectively.. ·         Provide hands-on technical contributions as needed, including coding and debugging.. ·         Promote innovation and encourage adoption of best practices and modern engineering approaches.. ·         Support recruitment and hiring efforts to build a high-performing engineering team.. ·         3+ years of experience managing engineering teams or serving as a technical lead.. ·         Staff-level engineering experience (IC6+) prior to transitioning into management.. ·         Proven ability to build, lead, and scale high-performing teams.. ·         Hands-on technical skills and willingness to actively contribute to code when required.. ·         Experience leading cross-functional teams to deliver software products efficiently.. ·         Strong mentoring and coaching skills, with a focus on team growth and development.. ·         Passion for learning and applying new technologies, including AI in engineering workflows.. ·         Exceptional communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.. ·         Motivated by the mission to empower independent business owners or small businesses..
