About the Role . The National Channel Manager (U.S. Grocery) will be responsible for accelerating the growth of the Jade Leaf Matcha and FGO (From Great Origins) tea brands across key U.S. grocery accounts. This role focuses on achieving growth targets through strategic merchandising, marketing initiatives, promotional planning, and successful new product placements. You will be a critical driver of brand performance and customer relationships, collaborating cross-functionally and managing broker partnerships to execute with excellence. .  . Strategic Account Management . Lead the development and execution of comprehensive growth strategies for assigned grocery accounts. . Drive distribution gains, optimize shelf placement, and increase product penetration within key retailers. . Ensure alignment with pricing guidelines and secure premium placement opportunities wherever possible. .  . Sales & Trade Execution . Manage trade spend with precision, aligning forecasts with budget to meet sales targets. . Analyze ROI, POS data, and case studies to inform effective promotions and investment decisions. . Track and optimize net sales growth by evaluating trade efficiency and negotiating favorable terms. .  . Cross-functional Collaboration . Partner with internal teams—SPS, Brand/Marketing, Demand Planning, Finance—to align on sales programs and deliver seamless execution. . Communicate and collaborate with the Operations team and other stakeholders on monthly sales forecasts in both units and dollars. .  . Broker & Customer Relationship Management . Act as the primary point of contact for broker partners, providing sales tools, samples, decks, and support materials. . Define and manage broker KPIs using the S.M.A.R.T. methodology; evaluate performance regularly. . Build and nurture relationships with key customer contacts and industry stakeholders. .  . Insights & Analytics . Leverage strong analytical skills to translate sales and category insights into compelling sell-in strategies. . Stay informed on market trends, competitive landscape, and evolving customer needs to shape account strategy. .  . Marketing & Promotion Execution . Coordinate and implement promotions in collaboration with the marketing team to drive in-store and online performance. . Secure additional promotional opportunities such as secondary displays and over-and-above support. .  . Other Responsibilities . Other duties as assigned to support the sales organization, brand growth, and company objectives. . What We’re Looking For . Minimum 5 years of strategic account management experience working with corporate category managers/buyers at key/strategic accounts within the Grocery Channel . Must have a proven track record managing key Grocery retailers & brokers across the U.S. . Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills . Business & results driven, strategic thinker . Consultative selling, negotiation and presentation skills are critical . High level of experience with Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook is required . Strong analytical acumen with the ability to interpret sales data, identify trends, and drive data-informed decisions . Bachelor's degree in marketing or business preferred  . Entrepreneurial, scrappy problem-solver with a bias for action and ownership . Company Location: United States.
