Commercial Development Analyst at Biffa Waste Services. A quick look at the role. The Commercial Development Analyst plays a key role in supporting the development of the Pathfinder platform and provides data analysis and admin support to the SWRnewstar business and Commercial Development team. You will also be responsible for the maintenance and development of key SWRnewstar data and reporting functions including Power BI models and reports, and waste destination data.. .. Your core responsibilities. . Support the onboarding of new suppliers and the order management function. . Assist with the rollout of Pathfinder functionalities to key stakeholders.. . Provide issue resolution and general system administration support.. . Manage disposal rate updates and ensure pricing structures remain accurate.. . Support stakeholders with the maintenance and updating of data within Pathfinder, ensuring system accuracy and integrity. . . Support the Head of Development with the ongoing development of the Pathfinder Platform. . Work with the Head of Development to specify new features, including liaising with stakeholders, and support the roll out of these. . Work with the developer to monitor and test the introduction of new features. . Support the development and maintenance of Power BI reporting tools for Pathfinder. . Support the implementation of the April Price Rise. . Support the maintenance of disposal rates within the platform. . Run the bulk costing tool, including cleansing data and supporting stakeholders with the handover and interpretation of results. . Responsible for the maintenance and upload of waste destination reporting, including working with stakeholders and suppliers to source and validate the data. . Responsible for the bulk issuing of Annual Waste Transfer Notes. . Support the development of Power BI data models and reports, working with stakeholders to identify requirements and ensuring that report usage is delivering business value. . Conduct and present analysis to stakeholders highlighting issues and opportunities. . Support the SWRnewstar business with data and analysis requirements as necessary. . Provide data analysis and reporting support to the Head of Development, Commercial Director and the wider Commercia Development team. . .. Our essential requirements. . Strong analytical skills, with experience in data management and reporting. . Experience in business systems administration, preferably within a commercial setting.. . Proficiency in Power BI, Excel, and other data analysis tools . . Detail-oriented with the ability to manage and manipulate large datasets.. .
