GST Reporting. – Prepare GST reports and returns for NZ client.. ● . Payroll Processing. – Manage payroll of 10 on a weekly cycle.. ● . Financial Records. – Record transactions, maintain accurate ledgers, and reconcile accounts. ● . Accounts Management. – Oversee accounts receivable and payable, ensuring timely payments and collections.. ● . Reporting. – Run weekly sales and cashflow reports and monthly management reports using 3rd party reporting software and spreadsheets.. ● . Annual Accounts Preparation. – Collaborate with client partners to prepare jobs for annual accounts.. ● . Client Communication. – Maintain strong client relationships via email and other channels.. ● . Onboarding & Documentation. – Ensure all onboarding, change of scope, and documentation tasks are completed accurately and on time.. ● . Admin & Data Entry. – Respond to queries, handle system administration, document preparation, and data entry.. ● . File Management. – Maintain organised cloud-based records and filing systems.. ● . E-commerce Support. – Assist with product and CRM data file cleaning and other e-commerce platform tasks.. ● . Other Duties. – Support the team with additional tasks as directed.. Qualifications & Skills. ● . Education. – Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.. ● . Experience. . ○ Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Bookkeeper, Accountant, or in a similar role.. ○ Minimum of 6 months working with a New Zealand or Australian company.. ● . Technical Skills. . ○ Intermediate to advanced spreadsheet skills.. ○ Sound knowledge of Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Drive, Gmail, etc.).. ○ Familiarity with Xero preferred.. ○ Experience with Shopify and/or other e-commerce platforms preferred.. ● . Design Interest. . ○ Genuine interest in design.. ○ Soft skills in graphic design and/or creating EDMs (Electronic Direct Mail) highly desirable.. ● . Payroll. – Experience running New Zealand payroll.. ● . Communication. . ○ Strong written and verbal communication skills.. ○ Able to adapt communication style to suit different audiences.. ● .
