Job Description Summary:.  The Sales Support Specialist provides essential administrative support to the sales team, ensuring smooth operations, effective execution of sales processes, and delivery of excellent customer experiences. This role focuses on developing and streamlining efficient processes, managing administrative tasks, identifying and troubleshooting problems that may cause delivery delays, and collaborating across teams to help achieve sales objectives. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and effective communication are key to success.. Key Responsibilities:. • Sales Team Support:. Assume responsibility for administrative tasks, order management efficiency and cross-functional coordination to enable sales representatives to focus on customer engagement and achieve sales goals. . • . System & Platform Management:. Maintain and update online platforms and tools to ensure accurate and timely information, effective and consistent webstore builds, and visibility to key indicators of risks to efficient order fulfillment. . • . Customer & Order Assistance:. Proactively monitor order status, provide status updates, and exercise discretion and judgement in identifying and escalating potential backlog issues and other order delay concerns. Work with sales and operations teams to solve problems, keep customers informed, and support promotional activities to enhance customer satisfaction. . • . Reporting & Analysis: . Create and analyze reports for customers, management and sales team members that help track order status, team performance, and potential order-execution risks. . • . Promotional Funds Request Process Management:. Support the Sales Operations Manager, Account Representatives, and Accounting Team in tracking and managing promotional funds requests. . • . Process Improvement:. Identify opportunities for improvement. Initiate and manage projects to streamline workflows, improve efficiency, and more effectively communicate with customers, team members, and across functions. . • . Collaboration & Training:. Work closely with Sales Operations Manager, Regional Sales Managers, and cross-functional teams to efficiently onboard and train new sales team members. . • . Other:. Qualifications and Skills:.  . • Minimum 3 years’ experience in sales support or related roles . • Strong communication, problem-solving and organizational skills . • Ability to manage multiple tasks and systems effectively . • Attention to detail . • Ability to work independently and as a collaborative team member . • Proficient with Microsoft Office Software Suite including intermediate to advanced    Excel skills . • Experience working in CRM software systems; Hubspot experience a plus. . • Experience working in ERP software systems; Microsoft Dynamics experience a plus. . • Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field . OR. relevant business experience required. Physical Requirements:. ·         Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. ·         Viewing computer monitors for extended periods of time. ·         Talking, listening, and typing for extended periods of time.
