Accountabilities. · Lead all back-end revenue cycle functions including billing, collections, denials, and revenue integrity across hospitals and clinics.. · Oversee coding teams and ensure compliance with regulatory and clinical standards.. · Drive modernization of billing platforms, front-end digital tools, and EHR/RCM systems to enhance accuracy, automation, and reporting.. · Implement dashboards and performance tracking systems to monitor KPIs such as A/R days, denial rates, net revenue realization, Medicaid eligibility conversion, and patient collections.. · Lead centralization of revenue cycle functions into a high-performing, scalable CBO model.. · Collaborate with executive leadership, including CFOs, to align revenue cycle strategy with organizational financial goals.. · Support payer contracting strategies and manage financial risk across a challenging payer mix.. · Recruit, retain, and develop top revenue cycle talent, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and mission alignment.. · Lead enterprise-wide transformation initiatives, ensuring cultural buy-in and operational excellence across multiple facilities.. . · Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or Finance required; Master’s degree (MHA, MBA, MPH) strongly preferred.. · Minimum 10 years of progressive revenue cycle leadership experience in hospital or healthcare systems.. · Demonstrated success in enterprise-wide revenue cycle transformation, workforce centralization, and technology modernization.. · Strong proficiency with healthcare IT and RCM systems (e.g., Athena, MedHost, Epic) including upgrades, integrations, and optimizations.. · Excellent communication and change management skills, capable of driving alignment across clinical, financial, and operational teams.. · Proven ability to implement data-driven performance management and monitor key metrics to optimize financial outcomes.. · Experience building and mentoring high-performing teams in multi-site or rural healthcare settings.. · Ability to travel frequently (up to 50%) and work independently across client sites and remote locations.. · HIPAA-compliant work environment and familiarity with security/privacy regulations..
