Our client is a U.S.-based provider of therapy and support services for children with autism. This role involves reviewing clinical session notes to ensure documentation is accurate and meets required standards for insurance billing, directly supporting the care provided to children and their families.. This role is ideal for professionals with . clinical experience in therapy, counseling, psychology, or related child-focused services. . ABA experience is a plus, but not required. The focus is on candidates who are detail-oriented, organized, and able to provide constructive and empathetic feedback to clinicians and therapists.. Please Note. Working Hours:. Monday – Friday | 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM EST | (3:00 PM – 12:00 AM South African time – subject to daylight savings).. Work Environment:. Fully remote role. Public Holidays:. This role requires working on both South African and U.S. public holidays (compensation in accordance with the BCEA).. Internet Requirements:. A fixed fibre line with a minimum speed of 25 Mbps (upload and download) with the ability to support a wired Ethernet connection is mandatory. Applicants without a fixed fibre line cannot be considered.. Power Backup:. A reliable power backup solution is required to manage load shedding and power outages. Applicants without backup power cannot be considered.. Key Responsibilities. Review therapy session notes and clinical documentation completed by therapists, counselors, or RBTs/BCBAs for accuracy and completeness. . Identify missing information, inconsistencies, or documentation errors. . Ensure clinical notes meet required standards for insurance billing. . Provide clear, respectful, and constructive feedback to clinicians, therapists, or counselors. . Track and follow up on corrected documentation where necessary. . Maintain organized records of documentation reviews and quality checks. . Collaborate with internal and clinical teams to support documentation standards and compliance.. Previous . clinical experience. in therapy, counseling, psychology, or child services (ABA experience a plus). . Experience writing or reviewing session notes, progress notes, or treatment documentation. . Strong understanding of documentation standards and compliance in clinical or therapy environments. . Excellent written and verbal communication skills. . High emotional intelligence and ability to provide constructive feedback tactfully. . Strong attention to detail and analytical ability. . Highly organized and able to manage workflow independently. . Basic computer literacy (Microsoft Office, Outlook). .
