Marketplace Velocity. | Remote | $105,000 - $115,000 + Commission. About the Role. We're looking for an experienced leader who wants to build something significant. As a Team Lead at Marketplace Velocity, you'll oversee a dedicated team managing a portfolio of high-performing Amazon and Walmart accounts. But this isn't just about managing what exists—this is about building your own business unit within ours.. You'll have the autonomy to grow your team, develop your people, bring in new business, and chart your own path toward becoming a General Manager. Oversee a team of account managers and specialists managing multiple client accounts. Own client relationships and ensure exceptional results across your portfolio. Build and implement systems that allow your team to scale efficiently. Set strategy and direction for how your team approaches account optimization and growth. Develop Your People. Recruit, train, and mentor account managers and specialists. Create training programs and playbooks that elevate team performance. Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching. Build a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement. Drive Business Development. Identify and pursue new business opportunities. Lead client pitches and close deals for your business unit. Develop pricing strategies and service packages. Build relationships that generate referrals and expand existing accounts. Operate Strategically. Analyze team performance metrics and identify growth opportunities. Optimize workflows and processes for maximum efficiency. Experienced Leader. 3+ years managing teams in ecommerce, digital marketing, or agency environments. Proven track record of building and scaling teams. Deep understanding of Amazon and/or Walmart marketplace management (PPC, listing optimization, account health, growth strategies). Experience managing client relationships at a strategic level.
