
Head of Delivery Operations at Stalis. Head of Delivery Operations . Reports to: Delivery Director . . Job Purpose . The Head of Delivery Operations is a senior managerial role responsible for managing resources, forecasting, utilisation, and the integrity of delivery data and tooling. The role provides oversight of delivery operations, ensuring accurate allocation of resources, measurement of billable and non-billable time, and embedding governance standards across all projects. . This position is central to ensuring company strategy, organisational priorities, and client account health are consistently reflected in operational decision-making. The Head of Delivery Operations leads and develops Delivery Managers, ensuring project cadence, hygiene of delivery data, and alignment of delivery execution with business objectives. . . Key Responsibilities . Resource Management & Forecasting . Own resource allocation, utilisation, and forecasting across all projects. . Plan diaries to maximise billability and meet milestones. . Approve project and non-project non-billable time (initial ownership). . . Timesheet & Billability Oversight . Sign off timesheets and ensure logged time matches allocation/forecast. . Manage calendar utilisation and billability. . Accountable for billability metrics (rolls up to GM → Delivery Director; EBITDA → COO). . Governance & Data Integrity . Ensure Jira data is accurate and consistently maintained. . Lead governance processes (KPI tracking, cadence, blocker escalation). . Oversee delivery data hygiene via Delivery Managers. . . Finance & Commercial Alignment . Support Finance Partner with variance vs. forecast reporting. . Provide data-backed inputs for estimation (with Head of Technical Delivery). . . Leadership & Continuous Improvement . Lead and develop Delivery Managers to drive operational discipline. . Maintain SOPs for Jira tagging, escalation, and reporting. . Drive continuous improvement in tooling, reporting, and workflows. . . Essential Qualifications, Skills & Experience . Proven experience in delivery operations, project governance, or resource management at manager level. . Demonstrated ability to manage resourcing, forecasting, and utilisation across multiple, concurrent projects. . Strong technical understanding of data-driven projects (e.g. migration, development, integration). . Hands-on experience with Jira (or equivalent delivery tooling) and data integrity practices. . Experience working with cross-functional technical teams. . Excellent analytical and reporting skills, particularly around utilisation and forecasting. . Proven track record managing and developing delivery managers or equivalent. . . Desirable Qualifications, Skills & Experience . Experience in healthcare, life sciences, or other regulated data environments. . Familiarity with BI and analytics tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau) to direct reporting and forecasting improvements. . Degree in a technical or data discipline. . .
