As a Senior Lead Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in developing physics-based models and system simulations for advanced mechanical and electromechanical systems. You will work on complex projects in a collaborative, high-impact environment, influencing design, performance analysis, and product development. This role requires leading and mentoring engineers, coordinating with global stakeholders, and applying first-principles modeling using tools such as MATLAB Simulink, Simscape, AMESim, or Dymola. You will contribute to both technical innovation and operational excellence, providing insights that improve system robustness and efficiency. Exposure to aerospace or automotive systems, along with experience in controls and CAD-based modeling, will allow you to drive meaningful impact on projects. Develop and validate physics-based models for mechanical, electromechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.. Build plant and controller models for complex systems such as landing gear, actuation systems, and slat/flap mechanisms.. Conduct performance analyses, system robustness studies, and provide design input to improve product development.. Lead projects, ensuring delivery on time, within cost, and with high quality standards.. Mentor, train, and guide junior engineers to achieve project objectives.. Collaborate with global stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions.. Prepare technical and business proposals for advanced methods, innovation initiatives, and research publications.. Contribute to standardization efforts, including lessons learned, checklists, and best practices.. . Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Electrical Engineering with a focus on Control Systems.. 6–8 years of experience in physics-based modeling and simulation using MATLAB Simulink, Simscape, AMESim, Dymola, or similar tools.. Strong experience in mechanical/electrohydraulic/electropneumatic system modeling.. Knowledge of controls system modeling and familiarity with CAD tools like NX or Pro-E for gathering input parameters.. Hands-on experience with Matlab or Python-based scripting.. Experience in FMU-based model exchange is advantageous.. Critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts clearly..
