Define and lead the technical vision and strategy for the data platform, ensuring long-term scalability and reliability.. . Manage and mentor a team of data engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, ownership, and excellence.. . Build and maintain modern data infrastructure supporting real-time and batch processing, data pipelines, and APIs.. . Collaborate with product and engineering teams to enable customer-facing analytics, dashboards, and reporting features.. . Oversee data governance, lineage, quality control, and ensure compliance with regulations including HIPAA.. . Develop frameworks for self-service data access, enabling internal stakeholders and teams.. . Drive operational excellence with robust monitoring, alerting, and performance optimization practices.. . Lead the foundation for AI/ML capabilities and machine learning operations across the company.. . . 10+ years of experience in data platform, infrastructure, or distributed systems engineering.. . 5+ years in a leadership role managing high-performing engineering teams.. . Deep experience with modern data stacks including dbt, Airflow, Snowflake, Kafka, and similar tools.. . Proven success building platforms supporting both internal analytics and external data products.. . Expertise in data governance, security, privacy (HIPAA), and quality frameworks.. . Strong collaboration skills across engineering, product, and business stakeholders.. . Strategic mindset and the ability to translate business goals into technical execution plans.. .
