What You Will Be Doing. You will sit at the . front end of our commercial sales pipeline. , combining business development with estimating support. Your work directly feeds revenue and long-term general contractors relationships.. Core responsibilities:. Proactively prospect commercial opportunities with: . General Contractors . Developers . Commercial property managers . Municipal and public buyers . Source and track commercial bid opportunities via: . Bid platforms . GC plan rooms . Public procurement portals . Review architectural and civil blueprints . Perform material takeoffs (linear footage, gates, posts, rail systems) . Build rough commercial estimates using tools such as: . PlanSwift . Bluebeam . Stack . Excel-based templates . Maintain a clean and organized CRM with: . Active bids . Follow-ups . Bid status (submitted, pending, won, lost) . Follow up consistently with GCs and procurement contacts . Hand off clean estimates and qualified opportunities to sales leadership for final pricing . Stay involved post-bid to support relationship continuity . This role requires someone who can . build structure while operating. , not wait for perfect systems.. Who We Are Looking For. Ability to read architectural and civil blueprints independently . Hands-on experience with PlanSwift or similar takeoff tools . Comfortable with cold outreach and follow-ups . Ability to work U.S. business hours (or at least 4–6 hours of overlap) . Organized, detail-oriented, and follow-up driven . Nice to have:. Experience in fencing, steel, railing, or sitework trades . Experience working with U.S.-based contractors . CRM experience (HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoho, Pipedrive, etc.) . Familiarity with construction procurement portals and GC plan rooms .
