QA Engineer - Hybrid QA (mid-level and senior roles) at 99x Brazil (formerly Nextly). We are seeking a Quality Engineer with a strong background in testing web and mobile applications, particularly in the online banking domain. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with automation frameworks—either UI or API—and a passion for delivering high-quality, secure, and user-friendly digital banking experiences. Experience with low-code/no-code automation platforms like Testim is a plus. You’ll be joining a fast-paced quality engineering team that values precision, collaboration, and continuous improvement.. Responsibilities. Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web and mobile applications. . Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other quality engineers to understand requirements and define test strategies. . Execute manual and automated test cases, report bugs, and verify fixes. . Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives as part of an Agile team. . Monitor application performance and reliability across platforms. . Contribute to continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. . Ensure compliance with security and regulatory standards in all testing activities. . Advanced English skills;. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. . +3 years of experience in software quality assurance, with a focus on automation. . Proficiency in at least one area of automation: UI automation using frameworks like Selenium or Cypress, mobile automation using Appium, or API automation using tools such as Postman or RestAssured. . Experience testing both web UI and mobile applications (iOS and Android). . Experience working with SQL databases for test data validation and backend verification. . Exposure to low-code/no-code automation platforms such as Testim is a plus. . Familiarity with AI fundamentals and AI usage in software testing . Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes. . Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development practices. . Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate issues and collaborate across teams. . Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. . Experience in the banking or fintech industry is a plus. . Company Location: Brazil.
