System Architecture & Design. Design scalable, secure, and high-performance repositories for national disease registries (e.g., Cancer, Diabetes, CKD) and longitudinal screening programs. . Define system architectures that support large-scale population health data and long-term clinical data storage. . Interoperability & Standards Leadership. Lead the definition and adoption of HL7 FHIR (R4/R5) profiles, implementation guides, and RESTful APIs for interoperable data exchange. . Ensure consistent use of healthcare interoperability standards across systems and stakeholders. . Foundational Registry Architecture. Architect core healthcare registries, including: . Patient / Client Registry (MPI) . Health Provider Registry . Master Facility List and Services Registry . . Ensure accurate identity management and unique identification across the health ecosystem. . Data Modeling & Transformation. Map and transform legacy clinical data formats into standardized FHIR resources. . Enable cross-platform and cross-system data exchange through standardized data models. . Security, Privacy & Compliance. Embed . Privacy by Design. principles across all architectures. . Ensure compliance with national health data regulations and global standards (e.g., HIPAA/GDPR equivalents). . Implement secure authentication and authorization using OAuth2, OpenID Connect, and encryption standards. . Stakeholder Collaboration. Act as the technical interface between public health authorities, clinical subject matter experts, and engineering teams. . Translate policy, regulatory, and clinical requirements into scalable technical solutions. . Architecture Governance & Documentation. Produce and maintain comprehensive architecture documentation, including system diagrams, standards, and integration specifications. . Deliver complete architecture blueprints covering end-to-end system design. . Technical Skills & Qualifications. . Healthcare Interoperability Standards:. Deep expertise in HL7 FHIR (R4/R5), HL7 v2, and DICOM. . . Clinical Terminologies:. Strong experience integrating SNOMED-CT, LOINC, and ICD-10/11. . . Architecture Frameworks:. Hands-on experience with TOGAF, IndEA, or similar enterprise architecture frameworks; strong understanding of Health Information Exchange (HIE) patterns. . . Infrastructure:. Solid experience designing and implementing . on-premise architectures. . . . Data Engineering:.
