As a Technical Support Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation and reliability of healthcare software systems used by providers and administrators. You will act as a key liaison between clients and internal teams, troubleshooting technical and operational issues, providing guidance on system use, and contributing to software quality and performance. This remote role combines problem-solving, technical expertise, and customer-focused service, directly impacting the efficiency of care delivery and the experience of hundreds of thousands of patients. You will collaborate with engineering and product teams, maintain documentation, and support training initiatives, all while working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.. Accountabilities. In this role, you will be responsible for:. . Providing technical support for healthcare applications via phone, email, and remote sessions, ensuring timely resolution of client issues.. . Troubleshooting and resolving application issues, including system errors, data discrepancies, network connectivity, and interface problems.. . Maintaining support cases and documentation in CRM systems (Salesforce) and knowledge bases (Jira/Confluence).. . Collaborating with clients to understand workflows, guide system usage, and provide best practice recommendations.. . Working with Engineering and Product teams to identify and resolve software defects, implement updates, and optimize system performance.. . Assisting with system upgrades, configuration changes, and training sessions for clients and internal teams.. . Participating in on-call rotations to provide extended support coverage as needed.. . The ideal candidate will have:. . Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Healthcare Administration, or equivalent experience.. . 1-3 years of experience in technical support, preferably in healthcare IT or clinical systems.. . Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.. . Excellent verbal and written communication skills.. . Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.. . Experience with SQL and database management.. . Understanding of healthcare workflows, clinical documentation processes, and healthcare data standards (HL7, FHIR).. . Familiarity with web technologies (Apache, Tomcat, JSP, PHP, HTML, XML, JavaScript) is a plus.. . Experience with Healthcare Information Systems (HIS) such as Meditech is preferred.. .
