You will be the core source to educate our community on RV insurance and help them purchase the right coverages to meet their needs. You will advocate internally to influence our product decisions, roadmap, and help us ensure that we provide the best experience possible. As an Insurance Service & Retention Agent, you will be one of the frontline heroes for our adventurous community.. A Service and Retention Agent is a detail-oriented resource that possesses a general understanding of personal and/or commercial insurance and demonstrates a clear ability to recognize customer needs and provide the best possible service. This is an individual who can multi-task and enjoys working as part of a supportive team.. Job Responsibilities:. Taking customer calls related to payment and billing questions, including assisting customers with making online payments.. Handling incoming policy change requests through phone or email from customers and making the requested changes with the appropriate documentation from the customer. Review policy coverages and issue certificates of insurance, evidence of insurance or binders. . General phone and email correspondence with customers related to renewals, cancellations, insurance carrier requests as needed. . Overcoming objectives on why a customer would like to cancel their policy and finding solutions to retain the customer (leaving to a competitor). . Upsell ancillary products and insurance services such as roadside, tire & wheel protection, and Pet. . Identify cross-sell opportunities to transfer to sales or write new business . . Qualifications and Skills:. . Minimum of 1 year experience in property and casualty insurance (Broker, Captive, Carrier) . . Property and Casualty License preferred but not required . . Good written and verbal communication skills. Proficient working knowledge of G-Suite and Microsoft Office products. Strong data entry skills and website navigation. Adaptability to varying customer personality types and situations. Eager to work in a collaborative, fast-paced, team environment. Patience, empathy, and professionalism. Effective time management.
