This role combines deep expertise in machine learning, AI safety standards, and autonomous vehicle development to ensure safe, reliable, and scalable AV solutions. You will lead cross-functional teams in defining safety strategies, implementing robust validation processes, and applying industry standards to AI/ML models across L4 autonomous features. Develop and implement AI/ML safety strategies referencing ISO 8800, ISO 21448, and AV industry best practices.. Lead the end-to-end validation of autonomous vehicle behaviors and AI systems across simulations, closed courses, and public roads.. Collaborate with software, data science, and systems engineering teams to ensure safe model training, deployment, and continuous performance improvement.. Establish assurance processes to validate launch targets for vehicle behaviors and operational design domains.. Set technical standards for prototyping, testing, and deploying new AI solutions, including generative AI..
