The Director of Mergers and Acquisitions will lead the full lifecycle of transactions, from pipeline development and due diligence to deal execution and integration, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams. This individual will work with senior leadership to ensure timely reporting and alignment across legal, finance, operations, and executive stakeholders. As Director, Mergers and Acquisitions, you will:. . Operationalize M&A strategy by designing and deploying systems, tools, and processes that support transaction execution.. . Manage the full lifecycle of transactions, including pipeline development, due diligence, deal execution, and integration.. . Collaborate with Legal, Finance, Culture, Operations, and Executive leadership to ensure alignment and progress on deals.. . Support leadership with timely reporting to the CEO, Board, and executive teams.. . Lead cross-functional initiatives and coordinate teams to meet deadlines and objectives.. . Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.. . . The ideal candidate should have:. . Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or JD preferred.. . Minimum 5 years of direct experience leading or supporting M&A transaction execution.. . Hands-on experience with at least 15 full M&A transactions, including diligence, close, and integration.. . Familiarity with Federal and State grant and contract compliance (preferred).. . Understanding of financial modeling, valuation methodologies, legal documentation, and regulatory implications.. . Experience working across legal, financial, and operational domains.. . Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills to influence internal and external stakeholders.. . Advanced proficiency with business analytics, pipeline, and transaction management tools.. . Demonstrated ability to organize, lead, and coordinate multiple teams and complex projects.. .
