In this role, you will manage and maintain critical IT infrastructure across multiple client environments, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and security. You will work closely with internal teams and clients to troubleshoot and resolve incidents, implement best practices, and support server and virtual environments. Accountabilities. Manage, maintain, and monitor Windows Server environments, including installation, configuration, patching, and upgrades.. Oversee VMware ESXi hosts and virtual machine infrastructure, ensuring stability and performance.. Administer Active Directory, Group Policy, user and group management, and permissions.. Monitor server health, capacity, and performance; respond to alerts and resolve incidents efficiently.. Assist with infrastructure services including storage, networking basics, virtualization, and backup/recovery solutions.. Collaborate with service desk teams and escalation tiers to ensure smooth incident, problem, and service request resolution.. Document infrastructure, configurations, run books, and contribute to standard operating procedures.. Drive continuous improvement through automation, tooling, monitoring enhancements, and standardization.. . 3–5+ years of experience in infrastructure support or systems administration, with a focus on Windows Servers and virtualization (VMware ESXi or similar).. Experience with server monitoring tools, incident response, and alert management.. Ability to operate in a managed services context with multiple client environments and standardized processes.. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and within a remote, multinational team.. Organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.. Cultural sensitivity and experience working in diverse international teams.. Fluency in English and German, both spoken and written..
