Finance Assistant. to join our team, for 12 months to cover maternity leave. The role supports the smooth running of our day-to-day financial operations, from invoicing and revenue tracking to financial reporting and compliance, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our finance function runs like clockwork.. As Finance Assistant, you’ll be involved in a wide range of financial tasks. Including:. . Preparing and sending client invoices using Xero. . Ensuring accuracy of PO numbers and supplier details. . Updating internal records and monitoring unbilled revenue. . Liaising with project managers to ensure timely invoicing. . Ensuring all financial changes are sourced from Kantata, with no manual edits in Xero. . Preparing and submitting financial data in line with Crown Commercial Service (CCS) requirements. . Creating and issuing associate POs. . Managing documentation and uploading to BambooHR. . Tracking cash flow forecasts and identifying discrepancies. . Preparing monthly revenue recognition reports. . Supporting finalisation of revenue figures and analysis. . Assisting with the production and reconciliation of balance sheet accounts. . What We’re Looking For. . Experience with financial compliance. . Proficiency in financial tools such as Xero and Kantata. . Strong understanding of invoicing and revenue recognition. . Ability to manage purchase orders and maintain accurate records. . Analytical mindset for cash flow and balance sheet work. . Excellent organisational and communication skills. .
