Partnerships & Engagement Lead at Proximity Works. About Proximity Foundation. Proximity Foundation runs structured coding education programs for young people aged 14-18 at Community Care Institutions (CCIs). Using a computer-based LMS curriculum covering HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and SQL, we pair students with volunteer mentors in cohort-based sessions designed to build real technical skills and lasting confidence.. We are scaling from the first cohort to many cohorts within Mumbai and building the operational team that will carry this program forward. Every role in Proximity Foundation is a direct investment in the young people we serve.. Role Typ : Volunteer. Time Commitment : 2-3 hrs/week. Department : Partnerships & Growth. Reports to : Operations Manager. ROLE FOCUS. Owns the end-to-end partnership function — from identifying the right donor and CSR organizations to building and closing those relationships. Works hand-in-hand with the Comm & Outreach Lead to get the right materials produced, then takes those materials and executes the outreach and relationship-building work.. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES. Conduct and oversee market research to identify and prioritize donor and CSR organizations. Develop and lead the outreach strategy for all institutional partnership targets. Build, manage, and grow a pipeline of donor and CSR relationships. Represent Proximity Foundation in partner conversations, meetings, and negotiations. Brief the Comm & Outreach Lead on what partnership materials are needed and when. Manage and support the Market Research and Partnership Outreach sub-roles. Report partnership pipeline progress and outcomes to the Operations Manager. WHAT A TYPICAL WEEK LOOKS LIKE. You'll be researching target organizations, sending outreach, following up on conversations, and briefing the Comms Lead on what you need. As the role grows, you'll manage two sub-roles who support research and outreach execution.. WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS.
