Content Migration Specialist . to partner with one of our clients, a fast-growing digital leasing platform serving the multifamily housing sector. This role plays a crucial part in migrating and populating high-quality website content across dozens of new community sites as the organization looks to scale their website implementation offerings.. If you’re meticulous, content-savvy, and fluent in CMS platforms and structured web workflows, this role will let you build beautiful, accessible websites from the inside out.. Accountability. As a Content Migration Specialist, your success will be measured by your ability to execute clean, consistent content population across multiple websites - on time, with accuracy, and in line with SEO and accessibility best practices. . Here’s how you’ll make an impact:. Content Population & Structuring. . Populate content across multiple CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, proprietary CMS), including copy, images, alt text, metadata, and documents.. . Review content migration plans and intake documents to identify necessary assets and fill in missing fields.. . Apply consistent formatting and page structure, following brand guidelines and style systems for each client site.. . . Quality Assurance & Optimization. . . QA migrated content across staging sites to catch typos, broken links, or visual inconsistencies.. . Ensure adherence to SEO best practices, including optimized meta descriptions, title tags, and keyword alignment.. . Contribute to light formatting edits, minor HTML/CSS tweaks, or file/image optimization as needed.. . . Collaboration & Workflow Management. . Work alongside project managers to track progress and hit go-live deadlines.. . Proactively escalate blockers or content gaps that may delay delivery.. . Optionally use AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT) to assist with alt-text writing, meta tag creation, or summarizing intake content.. . Colleagues. You’ll work directly with the Website Implementation Project Manager, and collaborate closely with different teams across our client’s organization.. As a Content Migration Specialist, your vertical strength will be in CMS content entry and site QA, while your horizontal range might include SEO strategy, UX writing, or accessibility advocacy.. To excel in this role, you should have:. . . Language Skills:. Professional fluency in English with excellent written communication and QA instincts. . . Experience:. 1–3 years of experience with content migration, CMS management, or structured web publishing. . . Platform Skills:. Familiarity with one or more CMS platforms such as WordPress, Drupal, or Sitecore. . . SEO & Accessibility Awareness: . Understanding of best practices for metadata, alt text, page structure, and WCAG/ADA compliance. . . Tech Fluency:. Comfortable using tools like Asana, JIRA, Google Docs, Airtable, and light HTML/CSS for formatting fixes. . . AI Literacy: . Familiarity with ChatGPT or other generative AI tools for content prep or enhancement will be an added advantage. . .
