This role offers the opportunity to lead the design, development, and implementation of enterprise-grade test automation solutions across a diverse application portfolio, including cloud and SaaS platforms. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality delivery for policy, billing, claims, and underwriting systems. The position combines hands-on technical work with leadership responsibilities, gradually overseeing automation efforts across multiple team members. You will influence testing strategies, improve automation frameworks, and drive efficiency and standardization across the enterprise. Accountabilities:. ·         Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites for enterprise applications, including policy and billing platforms, portals, and workflow integrations.. ·         Collaborate with development, QA, BA, and UAT teams to define automation scope, test strategies, and technical solutions.. ·         Provide technical guidance and oversee delivery of automation scripts by a small team of quality engineers, both onshore and offshore.. ·         Enhance and optimize test automation frameworks, tools, and processes to improve efficiency, standardization, and quality outcomes.. ·         Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and manage test execution, reporting, and metrics using Jira Xray or similar platforms.. ·         Serve as a key escalation point for complex automation scenarios, including end-to-end integrations and AI-driven processes.. ·         Participate in all phases of the product lifecycle, from requirement gathering through production support, ensuring automation supports business and technical objectives.. ·         Minimum 8 years of hands-on experience in test automation, including at least 4 years in a senior or lead role.. ·         Strong expertise with Duck Creek Policy & Billing platform, APIs, and associated automation tools (TAC/Regression Runner, AccelQ).. ·         Proficiency with additional automation frameworks and programming languages such as Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, Python, and .NET Core/Angular/React applications.. ·         Experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred) and cloud-native architectures.. ·         Solid understanding of QA practices, SDLC methodologies, DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines.. ·         Experience managing and mentoring quality engineers, with the ability to drive automation delivery and best practices.. ·         Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with a detail-oriented, self-directed approach.. ·         Familiarity with P&C insurance applications (policy, billing, claims) and enterprise SaaS environments..
