Symmetrio is partnering with a global leader in medical technology to recruit a Business Development Manager focused on expanding market adoption of an advanced radiosurgical platform used in neurosurgical and oncological applications. This role is central to driving strategic growth through new business development, high-impact partnerships, and targeted market expansion.. We’re looking for a commercially minded professional with deep knowledge of the healthcare ecosystem—particularly in capital equipment, radiation therapy, or medical devices—who’s energized by innovation and meaningful clinical impact.. Ideal candidates will be based in California, Texas, or Arizona. 50% travel required. $300K OTE.. Responsibilities . . Conduct in-depth market research and competitive analysis to identify new growth opportunities. . . Evaluate emerging trends, customer segments, and geographic regions to inform strategic planning. . . Build and maintain strong relationships with hospitals, clinics, cancer centers, and decision-makers in the neurosurgical and oncology space. . . Identify, engage, and manage potential partners, distributors, and referral networks. . . Collaborate with sales teams to develop and execute customized account strategies. . . Define and implement go-to-market and commercialization strategies for new offerings or regional launches. . . Lead or support contract negotiations, pricing discussions, and deal closure processes. . . Partner with internal teams—including marketing, clinical, and product development—to align business development efforts with overall company goals. . . Prepare compelling presentations and materials for client meetings, trade shows, and industry events. . . Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and revenue metrics to assess the success of business development activities. . . Adjust strategies based on data insights, customer feedback, and market changes. . . Stay up to date on industry developments, competitor moves, and healthcare regulations affecting the radiosurgery market.. . . 7+ years of experience in business development, strategic partnerships, or capital equipment sales in healthcare or medical devices. . . Strong knowledge of the radiosurgery, neurosurgery, oncology, or radiation therapy domains is preferred. . . Proven ability to build relationships with senior stakeholders, including physicians, hospital administrators, and procurement teams. . . Experience negotiating and closing large, complex deals, especially in a B2B healthcare setting. . . Willingness to travel domestically and/or internationally as required. . .
