As a Field Service Technician, you will play a critical role in installing, servicing, and maintaining high-tech equipment at customer locations. This role combines hands-on technical expertise with customer interaction, supporting the deployment and performance of advanced industrial systems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, assist with R&D testing, and ensure equipment operates at peak efficiency. The position demands a solutions-oriented mindset, adaptability, and strong mechanical and electronic skills. Travel within the service area, including occasional international trips, will be required. Install, repair, troubleshoot, service, and calibrate advanced industrial equipment at customer sites.. . Demonstrate exceptional customer service and professionalism while addressing client needs.. . Learn and apply technical skills for operating, maintaining, and optimizing high-tech CMM systems.. . Perform accurate and complete administrative tasks and documentation related to service activities.. . Work independently to solve technical challenges in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.. . Assist R&D and production teams with engineering tasks, system assembly, and testing.. . Support cross-functional service teams in launching new products into the field.. . Travel extensively (90–100%) within the service area, including international assignments as needed.. . . . High school diploma, GED, or equivalent; AS/BS in Electronics, Industrial Mechanics, or equivalent technical training/experience.. . Minimum of 4 years of relevant technical experience or equivalent military technical training.. . Hands-on experience with mechanical tools and basic electrical test equipment.. . Knowledge of Microsoft operating systems.. . Ability to lift items weighing up to 75 pounds unassisted.. . Willingness to work 50+ hours per week, including overtime as needed.. . Strong communication and customer service skills.. . Ability to work in industrial production environments.. . Valid driver’s license required.. . Preferred:. . . Experience installing or troubleshooting industrial electronics, machines, or computer systems.. . Previous experience with Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) is a plus.. . .
