As a Sr. Liquidation Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in managing and resolving complex small business loan portfolios, including collections, collateral liquidation, and legal proceedings. This position involves a mix of investigative financial work and direct interactions with borrowers, legal entities, and government agencies. You'll work remotely with a highly skilled team, using advanced systems to support efficient and compliant liquidation efforts. Your contributions will help ensure the responsible management of guaranteed loans while supporting broader economic initiatives.. Accountabilities:. . Evaluate distressed loans for collection and resolution strategies in coordination with the Risk Management team.. . Initiate borrower outreach, issue demand letters, and manage submission of guaranty purchase, litigation, and liquidation packages to the SBA.. . Oversee collateral liquidation, including foreclosures, repossessions, and legal actions.. . Prepare and submit required reports to government guarantors and maintain accurate documentation.. . Monitor bankruptcies, submit Proofs of Claim, and manage communication with internal and external legal counsel, brokers, and third-party vendors.. . Analyze title documents, environmental reports, and UCC filings to support asset recovery.. . Utilize platforms such as SBA e-Trans, Ventures+, and CSA systems for updates, submissions, and tracking.. . Recommend write-downs of unrecoverable expenses and ensure all necessary files are uploaded and archived appropriately.. . . Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in liquidation or collections.. . 5–7 years of experience in small business loan liquidation, including at least 2–3 years specifically handling SBA 7(a) loans.. . Proficiency in MS Office, with strong Excel capabilities.. . Knowledge of bankruptcy procedures, unauthorized transfers, title reports, UCC searches, and eviction or receivership processes.. . Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple complex cases simultaneously.. . Familiarity with servicing activities like deferments, entity changes, and collateral substitutions.. .
