What You’ll Do. . Design, build, and deploy custom network infrastructure for ISPs and global enterprises. . Architect systems for high availability, load balancing, failover, and multi-site synchronization. . Work directly with customers to understand their technical challenges and deliver tailored solutions. . Build the ecosystems around FreeRADIUS — including databases, authentication services, and infrastructure automation. . Git & GitHub Actions. . vSphere or similar virtualization platforms (e.g., VirtualBox, Docker). . A modern programming language (Python, Lua, etc. — anything but JavaScript). . Shell scripting in a Unix environment. . CI/CD practices. . General networking knowledge (Layers 2–4). . Nice to have / Desirable knowledge:. . LDAP (scopes and filters). . SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL). . Redis or equivalents. . RADIUS and FreeRADIUS. . 802.1X, EAP variants (TLS, TTLS, PEAP, SIM, AKA). . VPN and security protocols (IKEv2, IPSEC, WireGuard). . X.509 PKI. . Kafka. . DHCPv4/DHCPv6. .
