We’re seeking an experienced Controller who will partner across teams to enhance our financial operations, drive strategic insight, and ensure continued excellence in our accounting and reporting processes. This role blends leadership, systems thinking, and hands-on execution within a creative and purpose-driven environment.. Responsibilities. Lead the day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timeliness across all financial reporting. . Oversee and continuously improve internal controls, policies, and procedures to support a strong and scalable finance function. . Manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process with attention to both precision and efficiency. . Partner with cross-functional leaders in manufacturing, operations, and leadership to provide actionable financial insights and business support. . Drive process improvements and automation initiatives within our ERP system to increase transparency and efficiency. . Lead inventory management and reconciliation processes, ensuring accurate valuation and reporting.. Manage payroll and direct labor reporting.. Oversee Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable operations, building out the function and hiring support as the business scales.. Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning with data-driven analysis and strategic recommendations. . Mentor and develop team members, fostering a collaborative, learning-oriented finance culture.. 8+ years of combined accounting and finance experience, ideally with direct exposure to a manufacturing environment. . Strong working knowledge of U.S. GAAP, with demonstrated experience developing and maintaining accounting policies and internal controls. . Proven success operating within ERP systems (Batchmaster, SAP/One, or similar). . Direct experience managing inventory accounting and reconciliation processes. . Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex financial information for diverse stakeholders. . Naturally curious, detail-oriented, and proactive in identifying opportunities for improvement. . Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required. .
