Contracts & Legal Specialist, Europe at Prosci. Summary . As a Contracts and Legal Specialist at Prosci Europe, you will support the Contracts and Legal team by drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and managing contracts to ensure compliance with both legal and organisational requirements. Your primary focus will be negotiating client contracts, while also overseeing the creation, maintenance, and execution of various other agreements, including, but not limited to, intermediary agreements, affiliate or sub-contracting agreements and supplier agreements. A key aspect of the role will be working closely with internal stakeholders, clients, and suppliers to ensure the protection of Prosci Europe’s intellectual property, as well as identifying and mitigating risks to drive commercial success. . The ideal candidate will have some experience with reviewing and negotiating agreements, with the ability to confidently articulate Prosci Europe’s contractual position while maintaining a calm and professional approach during client discussions. The role focuses on negotiating contracts to achieve mutually beneficial solutions within Prosci Europe’s established risk thresholds. This position is well-suited to a recent Law or Business graduate with a keen interest in developing a career in commercial and contract management. It offers an excellent opportunity to gain valuable insight into the customer and supplier negotiation process across Prosci’s European entities and wider global business. . Scope & Responsibilities . Draft, review and negotiate various agreements along with the identification and mitigation of risks.  . Comprehend and effectively articulate the rationale behind any standard contractual clause, both in writing and verbally. . Conduct initial reviews of customer terms and conditions and record any exceptions to standard terms while proposing solutions to ensure compliance with legal and internal standards.  . Contribute to contract template standardization and any continuous process improvement initiatives. . Responsible for general contract administration which includes tracking contract and proposal documentation, ensuring contracts are signed and returned, monitoring responses, issuing reminders, processing signed contracts, responding to customer set up forms, updating customer records, and managing the contracts inbox etc. . Maintain accurate and organised records of key records and documentation for the organization, ensuring that documents are stored correctly and are easily retrievable.  . Respond to general enquiries in a timely manner and provide support to internal and external stakeholders regarding contract-related matters in a fast-paced environment. . Support the resolution of contract-related issues and disputes. . Assist with the education of internal employees on contract processes and procedures and any obligations under contracts and legal requirements. . Actively contribute to a collaborative team environment and participate in peer review of contracts. . Competencies, Skills & Qualifications . Competencies . . Introductory experience in contract management and client negotiations, balancing client requests with internal risk thresholds to ensure mutually beneficial outcomes. . . Exceptional organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize conflicting demands in a fast-paced environment with a proactive approach to deadlines. . . Excellent attention to detail with a strong focus on accuracy and efficiency. . . A proactive individual with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team, demonstrating strong written and verbal communication skills. . . A good understanding of data protection legislation and compliance, and the importance of this in relation to the management of personal and professional data. . . Proficient in Microsoft Office suite with good IT skills required to deliver high-quality contract drafts in Word. . . Professional competency in written and spoken English. . . A flexible approach to hours and working environments. Cross time-zone working is sometimes required. . . Qualifications . . A legal/business related degree, or other relevant experience or qualification . . 2-4 years’ experience in contract negotiation or proven ability to assume increasingly challenging responsibilities.  . . Additional Preferences . . Languages: required English (full proficiency). Desirable but not essential: Professional competency in one or more European languages, e.g. French or German. . . Understanding and knowledge of corporate law principles. . . Knowledge of data privacy regulations desirable. . . Contract negotiation experience preferred but not essential. . .
