WBL operates as a U.S.-based company with a fully remote team.. This role is available as a Contract/Consultant position, providing you with the flexibility to work from anywhere.. Our working hours are set from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm Eastern Time, Monday through Friday.. Strong oral and written proficiency in the English language is a must for this position.. Please ensure that resumes are submitted in English.. Key Responsibilities:. Gather and analyze financial reports and statements on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.. Review financial data to ensure accuracy and completeness while adhering to accounting standards.. Assist in creating financial forecasts, budgets, and analyzing variances.. Collaborate with internal teams to gather and evaluate financial information.. Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).. Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement efficiencies in financial reporting.. Participate in additional projects and tasks as needed.. Fluency in English is a must, along with outstanding verbal and written communication skills.. Strong proficiency in Excel.. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related area is required.. A good grasp of K1 forms is essential.. At least 2 years of experience in State and Local Tax (SALT) is necessary.. Experience with Sage GL and AP is a plus, but not mandatory.. Familiarity with IFRS and/or US GAAP accounting is important.. Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint is required; experience with Teams is a bonus.. A positive attitude and eagerness to learn are key..
