We’re seeking a Senior Staff Accountant with strong accounting expertise and a background in consumer packaged goods (CPG)—particularly those sold through retail and DTC channels. This role requires someone who can own the day-to-day accounting functions while helping to scale financial operations in a high-growth environment.. This is a hands-on role for a highly motivated accounting professional who thrives in a fast-paced, mission-driven company. Experience with QuickBooks Online, Bill.com, and online retailer portals (e.g., Walmart, Target) is highly preferred.. Key Responsibilities. . Own the day-to-day accounting operations including AP, AR, payroll support, and GL maintenance.. . Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.. . Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and variance analysis.. . Assist in preparing and reviewing financial statements and management reports.. . Partner with cross-functional teams including Operations, Supply Chain, and Sales to ensure proper accounting of COGS, inventory, and retail/digital channel revenues.. . Work closely with external tax, audit, and financial consultants.. . Support financial compliance with GAAP standards and internal controls.. . Maintain and optimize accounting systems including QuickBooks Online and Bill.com.. . Help integrate and reconcile data from retailer portals (e.g., Walmart Retail Link, Target Partners Online) and DTC platforms.. . Must-Haves:. . Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.. . Minimum 4–6 years of accounting experience, including work in CPG or retail product-based businesses.. . Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and internal controls.. . Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Bill.com.. . Experience with CPG sales channels, particularly big-box retail and DTC.. . Strong analytical skills with a high level of attention to detail.. . Excellent written and verbal communication skills.. .
