
HR Governance & Compliance Specialist at Weekday AI. This role is for one of the Weekday's clients. Salary range: Rs 600000 - Rs 800000 (ie INR 6-8 LPA). Min Experience: 3 years. JobType: full-time. This position is ideal for individuals who have strong knowledge of HR governance, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to drive compliance while balancing employee welfare and organizational objectives.. Key Responsibilities. 1. HR Policy Formulation & Implementation. . Develop, review, and update HR policies, procedures, and guidelines in line with statutory requirements, industry standards, and organizational goals. . . Collaborate with senior HR leaders and management to draft employee handbooks, codes of conduct, disciplinary frameworks, and workplace ethics guidelines. . . Ensure effective communication of policies across the organization and provide guidance to managers and employees for smooth implementation. . . 2. Compliance & Internal Audit. . Conduct periodic HR audits to assess compliance with labor laws, internal controls, and organizational standards. . . Identify gaps, risks, or non-compliance issues in HR processes and recommend corrective and preventive actions. . . Ensure compliance with employment laws, equal opportunity policies, health and safety regulations, and data protection standards. . . Prepare compliance reports, dashboards, and audit documentation for leadership and regulatory authorities. . . 3. Grievance Handling & Employee Relations. . Establish and manage a transparent grievance redressal system to address employee concerns effectively and impartially. . . Investigate employee complaints, policy violations, or workplace conflicts with confidentiality and fairness. . . Partner with managers to resolve disputes, mediate conflicts, and foster a positive work environment. . . Ensure grievance handling is compliant with legal requirements and aligned with organizational values. . . 4. Governance & Risk Management. . Support the HR function in strengthening governance frameworks and ethical business practices. . . Develop monitoring mechanisms to ensure adherence to organizational policies, code of conduct, and anti-harassment guidelines. . . Provide training and awareness programs for employees and leaders on HR policies, compliance obligations, and grievance procedures. . . Desired Skills & Competencies. . Strong expertise in . Excellent knowledge of Indian labor laws, employment regulations, and HR compliance frameworks. . .
