Responsibilities and Duties. We currently have an opening for a Mid-level Contract Specialist (with Construction/A-E experience) with a minimum of ten (10) years of experience in the field of contracting and procurement. The experience can be either as a federal government employee, a member of the U.S. military, or as a contractor supporting a federal agency. We are looking for candidates to handle actions related to pre- and post-award contract work in support of contracting officers; and other duties as assigned.. Qualifications and Skills. Qualifications. . No less than ten (10) years of experience in the field of contracting and procurement FOR THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT with a Bachelor’s degree; (FAC-C, DAWIA certification, NCMA certifications is preferred). . No less than five (5) years of experience specifically related to supporting construction/A-E contracting, to include:. . . Experience in pre-award contracting functions and artifact development supporting design and construction solicitations, including cost/price analysis. . Experience with FAR (Part 36) Construction and Architect-Engineer Contracts. . . Must have in-depth knowledge of and experience with Federal Contracting, such as FAR and other regulations. . Excellent written and oral communications skills. . Must be able to obtain or retain a Public Trust clearance.. . Company Location: United States.
