About You. We’re seeking a result-focused, innovative, self-driven, and well-qualified individual to join our talented team as our Finance Manager. You will safeguard financial health and administrative operations for the Mexico entity by delivering timely, accurate financial reporting; enforcing internal controls and compliance; administering banking and payments; coordinating tax, AR, AP, payroll, and local audits; and guiding working-capital performance to enable profitability, growth, and optimum cash conversion.. Key Responsibilities:. Ensure timely, accurate monthly close and statutory/US GAAP financial reporting by running the close calendar, preparing journals and reconciliations, analyzing variances, and issuing entity financials and management packs to agreed deadlines and quality thresholds. Administer payments, banking, and cash control by managing bank platforms and mandates, executing approved payment runs within policy, maintaining signatory documentation, resolving compliance matters directly with banking partners, and meeting AML/KYC and local regulatory requirements. Ensure financial audits are unqualified and delivered on timeby managing external audit engagements as principal contact, coordinating document requests, evaluating findings, and determining corrective actions to ensure timely resolution and control integrity. Manage tax, payroll, and statutory compliance with external advisers by coordinating filings and statutory reports, validating calculations, addressing authority inquiries, and ensuring on-time, accurate submissions to Mexican tax and labor agencies. Monitor working-capital health and cash-conversion against Controller targets by tracking DSO/DPO/DSI and related KPIs, analyzing drivers, and initiating agreed actions with site and commercial leaders consistent with Controller/CFO policy to reduce past due and slow-moving inventory. Run the local planning calendar for budgets, forecasts, and decision analysis by gathering inputs, building templates, preparing bridges and sensitivities, and briefing the Regional Controller and local leadership on risks, opportunities, and mitigation plans. Coordinate audits and inventory control with site and logistics teams by preparing audit schedules, responding to requests, executing cycle counts, reconciling differences, documenting annual stock counts, and closing actions to verified effectiveness. Maintain administrative and local records and entity governance by managing administrative documentation, ensuring contractual documentation aligns with corporate legal standards, ensuring ERP and document-retention integrity, and keeping corporate registers current. Enforce internal controls and regulatory compliance for the Querétaro entity by maintaining the control framework, testing key controls, documenting evidence, remediating gaps, and aligning procedures with Mexican regulations and corporate finance policies. . You should have: . 5+ years progressive accounting experience. BS in Accounting — or equivalency; MBA/CPA/Chartered Accountant preferred. ERP proficiency (JD Edwards E1 preferred); familiarity with KPI and reporting dashboards. Advanced Excel skills required, particularly experience with pivot tables. Experience as local controller or finance manager in distributor/manufacturing environments; Proven record working with third-party payroll and statutory providers.  . Prior experience working for a company importing goods from the US.. Fluent Spanish and English (read/write/speak). Strong knowledge of Mexican statutory reporting requirements, banking regulations and applicable law in the Querétaro region. Strong judgment and independence.
