
Part Time Accounts Payable Clerk at LawnStarter. Position Summary. We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Part Time Accounts Payable Clerk to join our Finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the accurate and timely processing of vendor invoices, maintaining vendor records, ensuring compliance with state sales tax requirements, and assisting with various finance projects as needed. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.. Key Responsibilities. . Enter and process weekly Accounts Payable invoices accurately and efficiently . . Set up and maintain vendor records, including requesting and collecting W-9 forms . . Prepare and submit monthly sales tax filings per state requirements and deadlines . . Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements for Accounts Payable/vendor management . . Research and resolve discrepancies related to invoices, vendor accounts, or tax submissions . . Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to address inquiries timely . . Support Finance team with ad hoc projects and administrative tasks. . Qualifications. . 1–2 years of Accounts Payable or general accounting experience . . Familiarity with W-9 forms and sales tax filings strongly preferred . . Strong attention to detail and organizational skills . . Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook); accounting/ERP software experience a plus . . Ability to work independently and in a team environment . .
