As a Solution Engineer, you will work at the intersection of technology and business, supporting enterprise clients in leveraging real-time IoT data streaming solutions. Collaborating closely with Account Executives and technical teams, you’ll translate customer requirements into innovative product demonstrations, proof of concepts, and tailored solutions. You’ll play a key role in the pre-sales process, helping clients solve complex OT/IT challenges while contributing to a collaborative and fast-paced environment. This role offers a dynamic blend of hands-on tech work, strategic consulting, and client-facing communication.. . Accountabilities:. . Act as the primary technical advisor to 3–4 Account Executives, supporting opportunity strategy and customer engagement.. . Lead technical discovery, develop tailored demos, and deliver compelling Proof of Concepts aligned with customer needs.. . Collaborate with internal teams including Product, Engineering, and Professional Services to develop effective end-to-end solutions.. . Engage with both business and technical stakeholders to clarify needs and propose innovative use cases.. . Contribute to webinars, conferences, and customer meetings with persuasive presentations and deep domain knowledge.. . Provide feedback to product teams based on client input and evolving market trends.. . Manage technical conversations around enterprise integration, reliability, security, and interoperability.. . . 4+ years of experience in software pre-sales, solutions engineering, or a related customer-facing technical role.. . Strong knowledge of IoT architectures, messaging protocols (e.g., MQTT), and networking fundamentals (e.g., TCP/IP, WebSockets).. . Familiarity with enterprise-grade technologies such as cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure), containers (Docker/Kubernetes), and integration tools.. . Experience navigating customer ambiguity and driving internal alignment to deliver innovative technical solutions.. . Proficiency in MEDDPIC or other structured sales methodologies.. . Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with fluency in both English and German.. . Based in Germany or Austria, with willingness to travel up to 20%.. .
