We are currently looking for a Bioinformatics Engineer/Senior Bioinformatics Engineer in the European Union.. We are seeking a talented Bioinformatics Engineer to contribute to the development of a cutting-edge cloud-based platform for single-cell RNA sequencing data analysis. In this role, you will collaborate across the full software stack to design, implement, and optimize computational pipelines, interactive visualizations, and user-facing features. You will work in a fast-paced, agile environment with a multidisciplinary team, tackling large-scale data challenges and shaping the technical direction of the platform. Design, prototype, develop, and test computational pipelines and visualizations for single-cell data analysis.. . Continuously iterate and enhance existing pipelines, features, and analytical tools.. . Collaborate closely with team members to architect new functionality and ensure code quality across the stack.. . Receive and incorporate feedback from colleagues and users to improve usability and performance.. . Troubleshoot analyses and assist users with technical challenges.. . Stay up-to-date with advances in single-cell genomics and emerging bioinformatics methodologies.. . Participate in code reviews, mentoring, and knowledge sharing within the team.. . . Degree in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, or related field; PhD preferred for senior-level roles.. . 2+ years of professional experience in industry (Masters) or 3+ years for Bachelors; additional experience for senior consideration.. . Strong programming skills in Python and R.. . Advanced experience with bioinformatics pipelines using Nextflow, Snakemake, or similar frameworks.. . Practical experience with open-source single-cell analysis tools, including Scanpy and Seurat.. . Professional experience in web development and data visualization.. . Familiarity with version control systems (Git/GitHub) and cloud-based containerized applications, preferably on AWS.. .
