To support our ongoing and future development plans, we are seeking a Senior Porting Programmer with extensive experience in porting custom engines to console platforms. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with strong C++ skills and a deep understanding of low-level rendering APIs. You will take ownership of porting projects, ensuring seamless adaptation of our engine to various consoles while maintaining high performance and reliability.. Responsibilities. Port custom engines for console platforms, focusing on programming rather than asset modification.. . Enhance third-party libraries for optimal performance on target platforms.. . Develop abstraction layers for filesystem management and system-level integrations.. . Optimise low-level rendering APIs like DirectX 12 and Vulkan for improved performance.. .
