We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Finance Assistant to immediately join our Operations team on a short-term basis. This is a fixed-term contract for three months, providing administrative and day-to-day finance support to our Senior Financial Controller.. This role is ideal for someone with a background in finance administration, bookkeeping, or office support, who is looking to gain experience in a fast-paced, remote-first tech company.. The primary responsibilities of this role. We cannot provide an exhaustive list of duties; additional duties will arise, but the following will be core elements of this role:. . Support daily finance admin tasks, including filing invoices, matching receipts, and updating expense records. . Assist with managing the inbox for finance queries (internal and external). . Help process supplier payments and liaise with team members to collect approvals and missing info. . Support with reconciling bank statements and inputting transactions into Xero. . Support with processing payroll . . Assist in preparing month-end, including journals, reports and documents,as needed. . Maintain orderly and up-to-date financial files and shared records. . Help with data collection for regulatory, tax or audit requests. . Provide ad hoc administrative support to the Senior Financial Controller. . Essential elements for this role.
