Accountabilities. · Lead the development and execution of enterprise data governance and cyber risk strategies.. · Design, implement, and maintain data management controls to protect against threats and support business objectives.. · Collaborate with stakeholders across business, technical, and risk teams to ensure compliance and facilitate growth.. · Interpret, communicate, and present data governance requirements to senior leadership, influencing decision-making and process improvements.. · Monitor and analyze data management operational and risk metrics, reporting findings to inform strategy.. · Identify automation opportunities and implement enhancements to streamline governance processes.. · Lead and manage projects and initiatives that advance the organization’s data transformation in cloud-based platforms.. · Bachelor’s degree or equivalent military experience.. · 5+ years leading complex data risk initiatives within cloud architectures.. · 5+ years of experience in risk management.. · 4+ years of technical experience in data security, data analytics, or cybersecurity.. · 4+ years of experience collaborating with internal business clients.. · Strong analytical, problem-solving, and conceptual thinking skills.. · Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex information to executive audiences.. · Ability to maintain confidentiality and operate calmly under pressure.. · Preferred: Enterprise-level data management experience, project management expertise, and certifications such as CDMP, CISM, CRISC, or CIPP..
