This role offers the opportunity to lead the strategy and execution of a cross-channel notification platform, impacting millions of learners globally. You will design, optimize, and scale messaging systems across email, push, and in-app channels to enhance learner engagement and retention. The position requires collaboration with Engineering, Marketing, Data Science, and Product teams to ensure timely, personalized, and high-quality communication. This is a highly visible, systems-oriented role where product strategy, platform thinking, and user empathy combine to drive measurable business outcomes. You will shape governance standards, monitor performance, and improve messaging consistency across a fast-growing, global learning environment.. . Accountabilities. . Define and execute the strategy, roadmap, and delivery for multi-channel notification systems, including email, push, and in-app messaging.. . Partner with product teams to determine when and how transactional messages are triggered in core user flows.. . Collaborate with marketing and lifecycle teams to support campaigns, personalization, and learner engagement.. . Work with design teams to standardize templates and ensure consistent messaging aligned with brand standards.. . Monitor and optimize notification performance metrics such as deliverability, engagement, latency, and unsubscribe rates.. . Establish and maintain governance standards for notifications across distributed product teams.. . Support enterprise and consumer-facing initiatives through scalable messaging solutions.. . . 4+ years of product management experience, ideally including ownership of a platform or internal tooling product.. . Experience with messaging technologies, such as email systems, push notifications, or in-app messaging.. . Strong technical fluency and ability to work closely with engineering teams on system design and integration.. . Proven ability to define strategy, manage roadmaps, and execute cross-functional projects.. . Experience with data-driven decision-making, A/B testing, and performance analytics.. . Excellent written and verbal communication skills.. . Preferred: experience with messaging infrastructure tools (Braze, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Amplitude), understanding of legal/regulatory requirements (GDPR, CAN-SPAM), and familiarity with consumer-facing products.. .
