Senior Accountant at Sur. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for managing your own book of clients, managing a team of junior bookkeepers, and delivering exceptional client services.. What You’ll Do:. Serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of clients.. Manage weekly and monthly client communications.. Supervise 1–3 bookkeepers, reviewing their work for accuracy and timeliness.. Perform and review month-end close, general ledger, reconciliations, and financial reporting.. Reconcile tax returns to books and records.. Set up and manage cloud-based accounting systems and integrations.. Identify and recommend process or technology improvements.. Ensure all deliverables are completed on time and within budget. . Fluent English or C1 equivalent is required.. 3–5 years of experience managing or supervising bookkeepers or staff accountants.. Proficiency in QuickBooks and Xero.. Strong understanding of accrual-basis and GAAP accounting.. Experience with cloud-based accounting systems..
