Migraine Care Navigator. will be the main point of contact for patients, guiding them through their treatment journey and ensuring seamless, compassionate support. This role requires a deep understanding of patient needs, efficient management of appointments and follow-ups, and a proactive approach to improving patient experiences.. Key Responsibilities:. 1. Patient Intake and Onboarding. Conduct initial intake assessments to gather essential health information, symptoms, and patient concerns.. Guide new patients through onboarding, explaining treatment options and addressing preliminary questions.. Coordinate with physicians to ensure accurate documentation and communication of patient information.. 2. Patient Care and Support. Manage and schedule appointments, minimizing wait times and optimizing provider schedules.. Follow up with patients post-appointment to ensure treatment adherence and address additional needs.. Provide resources, educational materials, and support, addressing inquiries and referring complex cases as needed.. 3. Coordination and Quality Improvement. Collaborate with medical and administrative teams for accurate patient records and efficient clinic operations.. Assist with insurance and billing inquiries, including prior authorizations and claims support.. At least 2-3 years of experience in a patient navigation, healthcare coordination, or medical assistant role.. . Strong empathy and communication skills, with the ability to support patients compassionately.. . Background in healthcare or patient advocacy, with a solid understanding of medical terminology and patient care processes.. . Experience with scheduling software and medical record systems; familiarity with HIPAA compliance.. . Proficiency in time management and multitasking, especially under high patient volume.. .
