Engineering Manager. to lead and grow a high-performing team of frontend and backend engineers. This is a critical leadership role where you will be responsible not just for overseeing the technical execution of projects, but also for coaching engineers, guiding architectural decisions, and collaborating closely with product and design teams to build robust, scalable, and user-friendly applications.. As an Engineering Manager, you’ll be expected to lead by example, driving engineering excellence and fostering a culture of ownership, innovation, and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities. . . Team Leadership & Mentoring. Lead and mentor a cross-functional team of frontend and backend engineers, helping them grow in their careers through regular feedback, performance reviews, and development plans. . . . Technical Execution & Architecture. Oversee the design and implementation of scalable web applications and services. Ensure best practices in software design, coding, testing, and deployment across the frontend and backend codebases. . . . Cross-functional Collaboration. Work closely with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to ensure technical feasibility, timely delivery, and alignment with business objectives. . . . Project Management. Own the planning, execution, and delivery of key technical projects. Track progress, mitigate risks, and ensure the team delivers high-quality software on time. . . . Process Improvement. Establish and refine engineering processes and workflows, including code reviews, CI/CD pipelines, testing protocols, and release management. . . . Recruitment & Team Building. Participate in hiring, onboarding, and building a collaborative and inclusive team culture. . . . Technology Leadership. Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in frontend and backend development. Recommend tools, frameworks, and techniques to improve productivity and product quality. . . Qualifications. . . 6+ years. of hands-on engineering experience, including at least . 2 years. in a people management or tech lead capacity. . . Proven experience in full-stack development with deep expertise in . frontend technologies. (React, Angular, Vue, etc.) and . backend technologies. (Node.js, Python, Java, etc.). . . Strong understanding of system design, API development, microservices architecture, and scalable infrastructure. . . Solid grasp of engineering best practices including code reviews, testing, version control, and continuous integration/deployment. . . Excellent communication skills and a collaborative leadership style. . . Experience working in agile environments with cross-functional teams. . . A passion for mentoring and helping engineers grow their technical and professional skills. . . Nice to Have. . Experience in cloud environments such as AWS, GCP, or Azure. . . Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools (Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, etc.). . . Prior experience in startup or high-growth environments.. . Company Location: India.
