Senior Microsoft Azure Technical Engineer (WFH) - #34944 at Manila Recruitment. As a Senior MS Azure Technical Engineer, you will design and implement secure, scalable, and well-governed Azure environments. You will assess existing cloud infrastructure, identify gaps in governance, security, and cost management, and provide actionable recommendations for optimization and AI, application, and data workloads. You will work closely with stakeholders and internal teams to translate business requirements into robust Azure architecture, implement best-practice solutions, and deliver architecture designs, deployment frameworks, and executive-level guidance.. Duties and Responsibilities:. Azure Architecture - Solution Design & deployment. ·       Design and implement enterprise Azure architectures, including compute, networking, storage, security, and identity services. ·       Architect Azure Landing Zones aligned with the Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF) and Well-Architected Framework. ·       Design secure and scalable environments for AI, application, and data workloads. ·       Develop reference architectures, solution designs, and deployment frameworks. Azure Environment Discovery & Assessment. ·       Conduct targeted discovery and assessment across multiple Azure subscriptions to establish a comprehensive current-state baseline.. Key activities may include:. ·       Reviewing identity and access management. ·       Performing Azure resource inventory. ·       Evaluating security posture and network exposure. ·       Assessing governance and landing zone readiness. ·       Analysing cost management and optimisation opportunities. ·       Conducting stakeholder workshops and technical interviews.  . Deliverables include:. ·       Discovery assessment report. ·       Prioritised remediation roadmap. ·       Executive briefing presentation. ·       Minimum of 5 years of experience of Microsoft infrastructure and Azure cloud technologies (flexible for candidates with deep, recent hands-on Azure expertise). ·       Proven experience delivering enterprise or mid-market consulting engagements or equivalent internal architecture projects.. ·       Hands-on expertise in Azure architecture, governance, and security. ·       Knowledge of Azure Landing Zones, Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF), and Well-Architected Framework. ·       Experience with IaC and automation tools, such as Terraform and Bicep. ·       Familiarity with networking and DevOps concepts, sufficient to collaborate effectively with internal teams. ·       Strong problem-solving skills, common sense, and a hunger to learn and grow. ·       Excellent English communication skills for technical and client-facing interactions, including documentation and presentations. ·       Ability to work independently, manage client engagements, and thrive in a collaborative team. Advantageous Skills / Technologies:. ·       Exposure to AI-related workloads and enterprise-scale application/data environments. ·       Previous experience producing reference architectures, solution designs, deployment frameworks, or executive-level deliverables.. ·       Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, TOGAF, SNIA).
