We’re looking for an experienced Director of Processing to lead and scale our loan processing team. This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for overseeing the entire processing function for our Business Purpose Loan products including DSCR (non-consumer), Bridge, Ground-Up Construction, and Portfolio products.. . In this role, you won’t just manage day-to-day file flow—you’ll own the process from submission through pre-closing, develop and refine operational best practices, and work directly with senior leadership to build a best-in-class private lending platform.. . This position will report directly to the Chief Operating Officer and is a key member of the operations leadership team.. RESPONSIBILITIES. . Own and Oversee the processing pipeline for Business Purpose Loans (Bridge, RTL, DSCR, Ground-Up Construction, and Portfolio loans). . Lead, grow, and develop a team of processors, ensuring consistent performance and a solutions oriented culture. . Review submissions for completeness and ensure files are prepped for underwriting in line with company guidelines. . Work closely with originators and underwriters to resolve outstanding conditions, mitigate risks, and move loans forward. . Maintain service-level agreements (SLAs) for processing timelines and proactively manage pipeline expectations. . Identify bottlenecks, troubleshoot issues, and implement process improvements to accelerate closing timelines. . Establish policies, procedures, and job aids for clear communication of processor responsibilities. . . Provide clear communication to internal teams and third-party partners (appraisers, title companies, insurance agents, etc.) to ensure smooth transactions. . Monitor accuracy of file documentation, including credit reports, income and asset verification, entity docs, insurance, title, and construction-related items. . Work closely with Sales, Underwriting, Closing, and Capital Markets to ensure execution and success. . Partner with executive leadership to identify operational efficiencies and scale processing capacity as the business grows. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES. Required:. . Proven track record of leading operational teams with 5+ years in private lending, non-QM, or business-purpose real estate lending. . Data-driven decision-maker with experience managing SLAs, KPIs, and reporting at an executive level. . Ability to balance operational execution with strategic growth. . High attention to detail and a risk-management mindset. . Experience using 3rd party diligence software for applicant reviews (LexisNexis, CoreLogic, DataVerify, etc.). . Preferred:. . Experience with Loan Origination Systems (e.g., LendingWise, Encompass, Salesforce, or custom LOS platforms). . Experience working with brokers and investor guidelines. .
